Firebird Care Pack helps developers, administrators and ISVs to perform the following functions:

• Deploy. Easily deploy Firebird and drivers for all types of applications, created in Visual Studio (.NET), Java, Delphi/C++Builder, ODBC and native C++ and also for the most popular script languages (PHP, Perl, Ruby On Rails, Python).
• Maintain. Schedule backups and restore activities, setup nbackup configuration. Get email notifications and warnings about database and backup status. Schedule and maintain flexible replication schemes.
• Profile and log. Intercept TCP SQL traffic (connects, statements, transactions) between Firebird server and database applications, view/track it online, view profiling results or log it to another Firebird database. All traffic is being intercepted so it's possible to build complete audit solution (it's not possible to build it using MON$ or TMP$ tables).
• Monitor and Protect. Get exact information about database health and status of database environment with retrospective analysis abilities. Rebuild indices, gather database statistics according schedule. Protect database from possible corruption and be ready to recover data with minimal losses even in case of serious failure. Track errors and their reasons (including different flavours of 10054), get notifications about errors and warnings by email. See all aspects of your database and server life.
